It has now been 4 years since the start of the war — four years of war, destruction, loss, but also four years of my continuous work on the front lines.
During this time, I have traveled to some of the most dangerous areas — from Donetsk and Lugansk to Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and the Belgorod and Kursk regions. I have filmed what is rarely shown: the lives of civilians under shelling, the reality of soldiers on the front line, the aftermath of battles, and the real stories of people caught in the middle of this conflict.
In this video, I want to reflect on these four years:
— how it all began
— how the front line has changed
— what people have endured
— and how my own life has changed during this time
This is not just a chronicle of war.
It is my personal journey — as a journalist, a former U.S. military veteran, and someone who chose to show the world what I see with my own eyes.
