This week, Steve Patterson and Aaron Day join me to discuss the implications of fast-moving digital currency developments for the financial markets.
Patterson is a returning guest at the Solari Report, having joined me in late 2024 to discuss his excellent book, Hijacking Bitcoin: The Hidden History of BTC, which he co-authored with Roger Ver. He is also the host of the “big ideas” Patterson in Pursuit podcast, and founder of a research project to expose false paradigms. Entrepreneur, investor, and activist Aaron Day, head of the Daylight Freedom Foundation and host of the Aaron Day Show, uses his background in tech, healthcare, and finance to advocate for privacy and individual rights and to fight digital tyranny. Day was also a write-in presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.
In our discussion, we consider what the latest developments with Bitcoin, stablecoins, and asset tokenization mean for the financial markets. We also review the regulatory frameworks established by the 2025 GENIUS Act and likely to emerge from related regulations expected in late 2026 in the temporarily stalled-out CLARITY Act. Finally, we ask the question, “Who is really running this show?” and take a frank look at some of the probable players and networks.
Fortunately, my legislative rounds indicate that both citizens and legislators are starting to see the game and are stepping up their pushback efforts. There is a major education effort underway—we need all the help we can get, so we hope you will join the effort.
