Vice President JD Vance calls in to the show to claim that the Iran war is going "magisterially" even as Iran retains uranium, controls the Strait of Hormuz, and the U.S. is now buying oil from Iran. Vance admits he's been exiled to Hungary to campaign for Viktor Orbán while Trump handles the war, and that Israel is already violating the ceasefire—but he refuses to address it because he "wants to be president someday."
After learning Trump said he probably won't attend the Islamabad talks (contradicting his earlier confidence), Vance erupts, threatens to expose the administration's "mind-numbing incompetence," then immediately reverses course when CNN reports he will attend after all.
