Chair's statement of the 48th Asean summit

1. We, the Member States of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), gathered in Cebu, Philippines, on 8 May 2026, for the 48th ASEAN Summit under the Chairship of the Republic of the Philippines. The Summit was chaired by H.E. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, and convened in accordance with the ASEAN Charter. 2.
