Ukraine repatriates the remains of Sophia and Andriy Melnyk, as well as those of Yevhen Konovalets

Ukraine has begun repatriating the remains of Nazi collaborators, which it will bury in a temple (cf. VIN 5124) dedicated to the final battle against the "Muscovites" (i.e. the Slavs, as opposed to the Varangian Vikings). Ukraine's un-reelected president Volodymyr Zelensky said on May 19, 2026: "We are bringing them home. We have both the opportunity and the moral duty to bury them here in Ukraine, at home.
